Pittman/Sakraska Take the Jump

Arthur/Gueirro Paddle to Win in Jax

Saturday April 22nd the team of Bill Pittman and Troy Sakraska weigh in 12.70 for the win and a nice $5,000.00 pay day on a very tough day of fishing in J’ville.

Four more places were paid on the 25 boat field along with the Brecknell Big Red Bounty paying $5,000.00 to the team of Eddie Marsh and Nathan Morgan for their single fish of the day a nice 7.60 pounder.

The bite turned tough on Friday, anglers prefishing discussed at Friday’s captain’s meeting and it looks like the tough bite continued and maybe even got a little tougher for Saturday.

Thank you to all of the anglers, spectators and sponsors that made this memorable trip to the sunshine state possible.

Saturday April 22rd the new Hoodoo Sports Kayak Team Tour Open kicked off the 2023 season in beautiful Jacksonville Florida under bright blue skies and soft southern winds.

Jim King park at Sisters Creek was the host and visit Jacksonville made a great weekend possible. This event didn’t have a big field like Texas and Louisiana are sure to have but it had anglers from South Carolina, Texas and Louisiana.

A great start finished out under tough conditions but in the end it was Joe Arthur and Eddie Guerrero that brought in a single Jacksonville redfish weighing 4.53 pounds to take the win and $4,000.00 check.

Thank you to everyone for traveling to far to fish the event and for being true professionals.
