EFL Tour Equipment 2024

EFL Tour Approved Equipment-
  1. All boats used in official practice, beginning Monday the week of a Elite Fishing League round of competition must be 20′ or longer and normal in appearance to standard bay boats, skiffs, flats, etc. as well as other typical inshore or bass boats. 
  2. No top drive or mid tower boats may be used beginning Monday the week of a EFL round.
  3. Standing console boats with OEM factory built and installed riser boxes no higher than 20″ may be used during EFL rounds.
  4. Airboats, jon boats, mud boats, air cooled engines or other boats and/or motors not listed or shown as approved may be used beginning Monday the week of an EFL round.
  5. Boats must be powered by a single 2 or 4 stroke outboard engine. Outboard Jet drive lower units will be allowed as shown similar to Yamaha Jet Drive pictured here.
  6. Casting platforms 5′ or less in height are permitted.
  7. Standard step ladders are not approved for use but competitors may use a platform ladder as shown but it must be strapped and secured to boat during use. 

Note: Sitting or standing on a casting platform or platform ladder while the outboard engine is operating, even at an idle (except for low speed use by cameraman) is prohibited.
