Just 2 weeks after the Elite Open event that took place in Jacksonville May 23-25 talks involving representatives and officials from Jacksonville in charge of showcasing their community and officials from the Elite Fishing Series began talks to bring the 2025 Elite Solo Tour National Championship to the east coast of Florida in a city, that in our opinion, is one of the top vacation destinations in the world.

After phone calls, text messages and emails today we have received the contract for the 2025 Elite National Championship, presented and hosted by Visit Jacksonville and the great folks at Jim King Park. 

Immediately we knew this was the place we wanted to be to showcase the pros of the frogg toggs Elite Solo Tour, the community and the challenging but great fishing in and around the Jacksonville Florida.

We are excited to continue to build this great relationship and in 2025 bring the top event of the season to Jacksonville. Once again the top anglers in the country qualifying for the National Championship will fish 2 full days of qualifying to make it to Championship Saturday and a chance for the top prize and title of 2025 frogg toggs Elite Solo Tour Champion.

With more information to come it can now be announced, the Tidewater Boats Elite Fishing Series, presented by Yamaha Outboards will be in Jacksonville, Fl and can guarantee a great show but one where the Elite tour and anglers will work together with local officials to ensure a great event that achieves maximum exposure (producing community centered episodes airing on the Discovery Channel) without negative environmental impact.

Elite professionals have to know how to find and catch fish in all types of conditions and do so annually in waters spanning a distance between tour stops as far east as Jacksonville, FL. all the way to South Padre Island, TX.  and all points in between but also understand the importance of and work hard toward creating and maintaining goodwill through conservation within the communities they visit.
