Results:  LAFITTE CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL RESULTSIMAGESDAY 1 LIVEDAY 2 LIVEDAY 3 LIVEELITE VIDEOS

Max weighed in a good limit of fish each of the 3 days that averaged 8 pounds per fish during the 2 days of qualifying and the 1 day championship round. Day 1 Max brought 24.45 pounds of live redfish to the scale with a 9.77 pounder anchoring his day 1 limit. Max followed up day 1 and on day 2 coaxed just 22.31 pounds on a bite that was definitely getting tougher but still holding the lead after 2 days of qualifying and took the lead into ay 3 when all of the weights were zero’d and once again the tournament would come down to a 1 day shootout between the top 4 pros, the final 4…

As Land did in tour stop 1, Martin saved his best for last when his 3 fish tipped the scales with a weight of 25.38 pounds and a massive 10.95 pounder! It was a great but tough week, the fish were in some kind of transition that made them there one day and gone the next. I feel very fortunate to have come out on top, Martin told the huge crowd assembled at the Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival where the pros of the Elite Fishing Series held the final day weigh in. Max took home the $14,500.00 top check which included a cool $4,500.00 for having the Check It Stik Big Red of the 3 days, his final day 10.95 giant.

Second went to the Victoria Texas pro, Mark Robinson who netted $3,000.00. Mark’s 2nd place finish put him in first place in the 2024 Elite Chase for the Championship where the eventual angler of the year wins a brand new $60,00.00 Tidewater/Yamaha/McClain boat, motor and trailer rig and will once again make it to the Bassmaster Redfish Cup invitational Championship. Elite Solo Tour Points.

Third place went to Stingaree Restaurant and Marina pro, Tony Viator who weighed in 21.86 pounds on his final 3 fish of the tournament and took home $1,000.00 while Baytown Texas pro, Gary Moreno finished in fourth and netted $500.00.

The weather was challenging early in the week cancelling 2 days of official practice but Friday, Saturday and Sunday could not have been any nicer weather for anything outdoors, especially site fishing big Jefferson Parish Redfish. Finally, congratulations to the Redfish Lodge of Louisiana and Strike King pro, Mike Frenette notching his first top 5 of the season with a 2 day total qualifying weight of 44.56 pounds missing the cut by just 15/100ths of a pound. Way to go Mike!

Thank you to Boomtown Casinos and Hotel in Harvey for hosting the tour, staff and camera crew, Mayor. of Lafitte for including our anglers and tour in your great festival finale’ and of course Jefferson Parish who made all of this possible with their tremendous support of the sport, our tour, the anglers, their families, friends and fans of professional redfishing everywhere!

Next up it’s halftime on the frogg toggs Elite Solo Tour, the all star break and we will be Jacksonville Florida with the first of 2 open events and already have a full field of Solo Tour pros and Kayak teams. See more at the Jacksonville Open Championship page.
