Shindledecker and Land Win Big at Championship
Chris Shindledecker comes from behind to win the 2023 Elite Solo Tour National Championship and takes home $100,000.00 while Travis Land captures the coveted Angler of the Year and $10,000.00.

Qualifier day 2 Louisiana pro, Michael Frenette took the lead on day 1 with over 23 pounds of Corpus Christi Texas slot fish anchored by the Brecknell Big Red of the tournament, a 9.31 pound giant but after 2 days it was Travis Land heading to the top spot.
However, Thursday and Friday’s great weights by these 2 and the others won’t matter today as weights are zero’d and all 5 start over with 0.00 pounds in an exciting 1 day shootout for all of the marbles.
These 2 will be joined by 3 other top anglers perhaps making up the best Elite Fab 5 Championship Saturday’s best group of pros top to bottom. This should be an exciting conclusion to the 2023 season.
