Robinson Dominates in Kemah!

Tidewater Boat pro Mark Robinson takes the final tour stop in the regular season with in dominating fashion. When Mark backed his new Tidewater 25′ Raptor boat down for the first day of practice he had to know he was on the right fish.

Mark dominated a good field of anglers that struggled and did so using just 5 of his allotted 6 fish limit when he had a fish “kicked” for being over the size limit at the Elite measuring station. Robinson took part in the Elite Community Pro-Am on Thursday winning that event and guiding his partner councilwoman Evans to her first win as the amature.

The pros eased into their weekend with this fun 1 fish half a day event where their amature had to catch their own fish as well, no shared weights. After a fun 1/2 day on the water with some good people on their boats the pros hit the stage in Kemah down in the lighthouse district then enjoyed food, cold AC and drinks at the VooDoo hut to finish off the afternoon.

Whatever Mark found it was the right fish and in this very limited field they were still rewarding as he left with over $10,000.00 in cash plus prizes, trophies, etc. and another $1,000.00 in bonus cash for winning the Pro-Am!

In 2nd place local Blake Trevino weighed in 29.29 for the 2 days of fishing and took home $3,000.00 while Angler of the Year leader Gary Moreno finished in 3rd with 27.46 pounds while Viator and Granberry finished out the top 5 with 22.36 for Tony and Will who had a tough day 2 finished with 12.17.

It was a great week of events in the great and fun city of Kemah and we are already planning 2023 to make the Community Pro-Am bigger and better and plan to return with a new old format of 3 days of competition for the pros. Stay tuned!
