The anglers of the Elite Redfish Series will once again enjoy the opportunity in the 2022 season to take home an awesome Tidewater Boat. Since 2019 when the partnership was born between the Elite Redfish Series and Tidewater Boats they have gone above and beyond on their commitment to the pros of the Elite Redfish Series, their customers, employees and environment.

In 2022 they will return as a presenting sponsor and once again offer the best built bay and offshore boats at the best prices and reliability in the market. With so much disruption to the marine industry it is no surprise that Tidewater has once again “delivered” in a major way.

At a time when placing an order for a great rig can take upwards of 16 months to 2 years prior to delivery the folks at Tidewater have build and are delivering 2 awesome rigs powered by Yamaha 250 SHO and Yamaha 200 XB outboards to McClain trailers in Houston Friday April 1… and this is no April fools.

When south Texas angler Kevin Akin won the 2nd Tidewater 25′ Cat last August we informed him and he understood it would be probably 1 year before that rig could be delivered. He understood and agreed with that time frame. When these 2 rigs land at McClain Trailers to have tandem axle custom trailers, built for the long haul, put under them it will be just 7 months from the time they were ordered. In today’s time frame, that is in record time.

In 2022 anglers fishing the Elite Redfish Solo Tour and finishing the season with the most points (Angler of the Year) will receive a Baymax 2110 powered by the Yamaha 200XB and sitting on another McClain custom tandem axle trailer. Also for the angler competing on either the Elite Team and/or Solo Tour there will be a random draw for one of these great Baymax 2110’s at the conclusion of the season. Each member of the Elite Redfish Series receives 1 ticket for each event fished during 2022 and at the conclusion of the season all tickets will be placed in a hopper and a winning angler drawn from the basket will go home with a terrific prize, just for fishing this season on the Elite Redfish Series in 2022 as part of “The Angler Appreciation Tour.”
