Mamba boats pro, Travis Land races back into the lead after his #SlidellShootout win, his 2nd top spot finish of the 2024 season. Travis credited Mamba Boats, Yamaha Outboards, Coastline Trailers, Berkley Gulp and Waterloo Rods for this win. “It takes a lot of things to go right to win one of these, heck the last event I was happy to have 3 pounds to bring to the stage on the final day of the Jacksonville Open qualifying round, you don’t always catch em and a day like that makes you appreciate days like this.”
Travis trailed by 4 points prior to this week’s event but wiped away those 4 and added a 1 point lead over fellow competitor, fellow Mamba Boats and fellow Texas pro, Gary Moreno who stated, “I said it last tournament and I’ll say it again, it’s going to be a battle all the way to the final stop of the season at the Lake Charles Championship.”
