Yamaha Pro Returns to top Spot

At the first tournament back after the all star break at the Jacksonville Open Travis Land has leaped back into the lead in the Yamaha Angler of the Year Chase for the Championship. It's a slim 1 point lead over Gary Moreno but it was a 4 point deficit following the Jacksonville Open and prior to this week's #SlidellShootout. Anglers use their best 4 finishes of all the 2024 events to determine their place of finish in the Yamaha Outboards Angler of the Year race. Stay tuned!

Slidell Kayak Shootout

Morrisette - Murphy Win the Shootout!

Congratulations Dave Morrisette and Matt Murphy on the big win at the #SlidellShootout 2024. Dave and Matt fishing for S&J Rods brought in 2 great Louisiana Northshore redfish tipping the scales at 16.23 pounds to take the top spot netting this team a cool $1,500.00 check, champions trophies and awards and the title of Brecknell Elite Kayak Tour champions.

Jax Open Championship stats

The Jax Open Championship was a great weekend in the sunshine state. 63 total anglers competed over the weekend in both the frogg toggs Elite Solo Tour boaters division and the Brecknell Elite Kayak Tour Open Championship. Zero dead fish highlighted the week as the stats show, it was an amazing job by the anglers to not only catch what can be stubborn tight lipped East coast reds but to also keep them alive.. Bravo anglers, Bravo!

Guzman and Brown Team up to take the Kick Off!

The team caught their 15.85 pounds of live Texas redfish on a Deadly Dudley Texas roach on a Salty Head 1/4 ounce jig head. Ronald Brown credited the vibration the lure causes as being the key to get their fish to bite in what was extremely dirty water after the week long storms.
